Adelphi University Scholarships

Adelphi University Honors Scholarships are merit-based. (A student's financial aid package may include substantial additional awards, loans, and work-study based on family need.) There are three levels of scholarship awarded to Honors students:

* Trustee Scholarships: Generally awarded to a limited number of entering full-time freshmen with the most outstanding academic achievement and extra-curricular activities. Our Trustee scholars have combined SAT scores minimum 2020 (critical reading, math and writing) score and rank in the top 10% of their high school class. An interview with a faculty member is also highly recommended.
* Presidential Scholarships: Awarded to entering full-time freshmen with exceptional academic achievement and extra-curricular activities. Presidential scholars typically have combined SAT scores of at least 1950 (critical reading, math and writing) and rank in the top 10% of their high school class. An interview with a faculty member is also highly recommended.
* Provost Scholarships: Awarded to entering full-time freshman and transfer students with excellent academic performance and extra-curricular activities. In general, Provost scholars have combined SAT scores minimum 1800 (critical reading, math and writing) and rank in the top 15% of their high school class or have a minimum transfer GPA of 3.5. An interview with a faculty member is also highly recommended.
