International Scholarship Scheme at Southampton Solent University in UK

Scholarship details

The Southampton Solent University is pleased to invite a limited number of International Scholarship Scheme for pursuing a full time course at the University for the 2014 Entry. The applications are invited for the students from the following areas: Africa, Japan, Bangladesh, North and South America, India, Pakistan, Turkey, United Kingdom and South Korea. The applicants have to apply for the scholarship once they have accepted their offer of study and pay their required deposit.

Scholarship is open for International students

The students of the following regions are eligible for the scholarships. Africa, Algeria, Cameroon, Cape verde, Bangladesh, India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Burundi, Gabon, Ghana, Tunisia, Tanzania, Mauritius, Guyana, Togo, Japan, North America and South America, Morocco, South Africa, Madagascar, Madi, South Korea, turkey, Somalia, Sudan, Ethiopia, Liberia, Libya, Chad, Nigeria, republic of the Congo etc.

Eligibility criteria

The candidates have to satisfy the following eligibility criteria to avail the scholarships.

1.       The candidate has to be apply for the full time course at the Southampton Solent University at the United Kingdom.

2.       The candidate should not be resident or currently residing in the United Kingdom.

3.       The candidate can also apply if he/she is a self-funded and full fee student ( this is not applicable to the students of Erasmus and study abroad students)

4.       The candidate should be from the following areas namely Africa, Japan, Bangladesh, North and South America, India, Pakistan,  South Korea and Turkey.

Number of awards

The Southampton Solent University is offering a limited number of scholarships for the students belonging to the mentioned areas or regions.

Duration of the awards

The duration of the scholarships is also not known.

Selection criteria

The selection criteria for the above mentioned scholarship is given below.

The scholarship is awarded on the basis of first com and first serve terms and not on the basis of financial need. These scholarships are not supposed to be used in conjuction with any other scholarships.   Also, the candidates should keep in mind that the submission of an application does not guarantee any award.

Scholarship amount

An award of £1000 towards the tuition fee for the course taken up is awarded.

Notification

The notification period of the scholarship scheme is not known yet.
