Details
The applications are invited from the
candidates for the post of junior research fellowship (JRF) for the DST
sponsored project ‘Strangeness and Charmness in Heavy ion collision experiments’. The
project is DST sponsored project. The project is under fast track scheme for the
scholars and young scientists who are desirous of doing research in the above
said project.
Eligibility
Criteria
The candidate has to satisfy the following
eligibility criteria in order to apply for the junior research fellowship.
1.
The candidate should have an M.Sc in
physics with a minimum percentage of 55% marks.
2.
The candidate if belongs to SC/ST is
supposed to have 50% in M.Sc (Physics).
3.
The candidate is preferred to be
NET/GATE qualified.
Study
subjects
The study subjects for the junior research
fellowship is DST sponsored project ‘strangeness and charmness in heavy ion
collision experiments’. The project is a DST sponsored project exclusively put
under the fast track scheme for the young scholars and the researchers who get
involved with the Project ‘Strangeness and charmness in heavy ion collision
experiments’.
Course
level
The level of the course encountered for the
project is for the research position. The research level of the scholarship is
to be assumed by the students. The young researchers and scholars are requested
to apply for the JRF position.
Duration
of the Scholarship
The duration of the fellowship/scholarship is
offered for the three years.
Scholarship
Open for International students
The scholarship is open only for the students
of India. The JRF position for the DST sponsored project is open to students of
India.
Application
deadline
The scholarship or the fellowship has to be
submitted within the last date of the mentioned date. However the last date for
the submission is not known. The candidates are requested to contact the
employer for further details.
Scholarship
amount
The fellowship as already mentioned is for the
three years. The initial two years consists of the fellowship amount of 16,000
per month plus HRA. The third year consists of the candidates receiving an
amount of 18,000 per month plus HRA.
Notification
for the candidates
The candidates should be notified about the
shortlisted list. The notification for the candidates is still not known.
