Scholarship details

FAEA (Foundation for Academic Excellence and Access) scholarship is inviting applications from the scholars and students who are desirous of pursuing undergraduate courses in arts/science/medical/engineering/commerce and other technical and professional courses/disciplines at any recognised Indian university/college/institution.

Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for the above mentioned scholarship is given below.

1.       The students who belong to the socially economic backward conditions and disadvantaged sections of the society are eligible for the above scholarship.

2.       The candidate should have passed the 12^th examination from a recognised board in India.

3.       The candidate should be desirous of pursuing the undergraduate course at the first year level.

Scholarship amount

FAEA aids to provide the financial support to the students who belong to the weaker sections of the society. The scholarship amount can help the candidate to fulfil his dreams and aspirations. The scholarship amount covers the tuition fee towards the course entire semesters. The scholarship also intends to cover the hostel fee, mess fee and if any, in case of the maintenance fee as per the norms of FAEA.

The allowances for the scholarship scheme may also cover the book charges, travel allowance, clothing etc as per the norms of the FAEA. Other scholarship grants include the above listed benefits.

Number of scholarships awarded

The number of scholarships awarded every year is approximately 50 scholarships. There will be increase/decrease in the number of scholarships depending upon the student’s performance and the availability of funds for the scholarship provisions.

Duration of the scholarship

The duration of the scholarship depends on the performance of the student academically and also on the availability of the funds. The duration can thus be extended till the completion of the course. FAEA has the right to increase/decrease the duration of the scholarship. The scholarship may be extended up to a maximum of five years.

Last date for the scholarship
