Scholarship details

The scholarship programme is Apparel design and training centre research fellowship 2014 is a fellowship programme which is inviting applications from the students who are highly motivated post graduate students and professionals for research in the broad areas of Apparel Industry.

Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for the scholarship/fellowship programme are given below. The interested professionals and post graduates should satisfy the below criteria to avail this fellowship.

1.       The post graduate degree with at least 6 months or 1 year of industry experience.

2.       The candidate may also be a advance diploma with 3 years of experience in Apparel/Garment manufacturing, Fashion Technology, Design, Management with a minimum score of 50 percentage in Post Graduation or equivalent qualification from recognised and reputed institutions.

3.       The candidates who have appeared to the final examination or semester with a 6 month or one year industry experience or an industry internship may also apply for the above mentioned fellowship.

Duration of the fellowship programme

The duration of the ADTC JUKI research fellowship is for one year initially. On the basis of the assessment committee report, it may fully be extended annually at the discretion of ADTC.  

Selection Procedure

The selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of factors such as cumulative assessment of academic records, industry experience, research proposal, and Interview.

Fellowship amount awarded to the candidate

The fellowship amount of the candidate who is selected as the junior research fellow is of a consolidated amount of 25,000 per month. Even after one year, the position will be considered as a purely temporary position and co-terminus with the project.

How to apply for the ADTC JUKI fellowship

The candidates who are interested and motivated about the research fellowship can apply for the position. The candidate has to duly submit the application form which is prescribed in the website in the prescribed format along with certain important documents.

The candidate should submit an Initial Research Proposal (Synopsis) demonstrating the objective, methodology which should not be more than 1200 words.

The application forms will be screened at first and only then, the shortlisted candidates will be called for the Personal Interview.

The last date and deadline for the submission of the completed application form along with the synopsis is on December 15^th, 2014.
