Asian Future Leaders Scholarship Program at Zhejiang University in China

Scholarship Details

The Asian Future Leaders scholarship program is established by the BAI XIAN Education Foundation Limited at Zhejiang University to assist and sponsor the Asian young candidates and students to pursue the two year English Taught program in Master of Public Administration: Asia synergy program for future leaders.  The scholarship is basically full time scholarship to sponsor the high-caliber Asian students, to enhance their cross-cultural exchanges and trust among the Asian young students. The aim and the goal of the scholarship is to provide the Asian students to become world leaders and foster the development of the world.

The scholarship is being provided by the BAI XIAN education foundation limited at the Zhejiang University.

Study Subjects

The program ‘Master of Public Administration’ is a full time English Taught program introduced by the school of Public affairs at the Zhejiang University. The program aims to foster the future leaders in public sector undertakings, make them fully knowledgeable and aware of the governmental system characteristics and economic status of the major Asian countries like Japan, China etc.

Scholarship Open for International students

The scholarship is open to all Asian countries except for China. Around 15 scholarships are provided to the Asian students who are known for their honesty, integrity, broad sense of vision, sense of responsibility, mission and the leadership qualities. The program usually tends to commence from the early September every year.

Eligibility criteria

The applicant should satisfy the below eligibility criteria to avail this scholarship.

1.       The applicant should be resident of an Asian country holding citizenship.

2.       The applicant must be an outstanding graduate student or should be graduating students under the age of 40.

3.       The applicants should know, understand and appreciate the vision and mission of the scholarship.

4.       The applicants if enrolled should sign in a commitment letter by the program.

5.       The applicants should have a good command over English and should not have availed any other scholarship.

Scholarship coverage

The scholarship covers the following for the Asian scholars who are enrolled into the program and the scholarship as well.

1.       The scholarship provides the exempt from the tuition fee, registration fee, fee for the basic materials for learning, fee for the internships to be attended.

2.       Free Accommodation for the student to be shared with a Chinese student.( a double bed room)

3.       The living allowance of CNY 6000 per month ( 10months for two years)

4.       The comprehensive medical insurance and the protection scheme to be provided for the students in China.
