Scholarship
details
The applications are invited from the candidates/scholars/aspiring
researchers for the post of junior
research fellowship for the SERB project titled ‘Role of SOD1 in modulating
nitric oxide coupled cGMP (NO-cGMP) signalling’. The
fellowship can be taken at the Dr.Harisingh Gour central University, India. The
scholarship is for a course level at the research level.
The junior research fellowship is to stay for
the next three years from the commencement of the programme. The project is a
SERB sponsored project. The fellowship can only be taken at the Dr.Harisingh
Gour central university, Madhya Pradesh, India.
Eligibility
criteria
The eligibility criteria for the above
mentioned scholarship is given below.
1.
The candidate should possess M.Sc in
Biotechnology/Biochemistry/ Microbiology or any of the related area. The
candidates should have passed the M.Sc with at least 60 percent or higher.
2.
The candidates are more preferred if
they are NET/GATE qualified.
3.
The candidates can also register for
the PhD if he/she fulfils the university criteria.
Study
subjects
The study subjects for the above mentioned
scholarship is given as follows. The research fellowship is for the project
titled ’ Role of SOD1 in modulating nitric oxide coupled cGMP (NO-cGMP)
signalling’. The
scholarships can only be taken at India.
Number of
awards
The number of awards/scholarships will be for
one fellowship. They are offering only one fellowship.
Duration
of the scholarship
The duration of the fellowship/scholarship is
for three years. The project is for the three years long and hence the duration
of the fellowship is for three years.
Scholarship
award/fee cover
The scholarship fee gives the emolument fee of
around 12,000 per month. The scholarship amount is a consolidated amount.
Selection
criteria
The selection criteria for the above mentioned
scholarship is given below. The preference is given to the candidates who have NET/GATE
qualified or NET/JRF/LS or with a higher GATE score.
Notification
The
notification is provided to the candidates but how long the recruitment /selection
committee takes is still not known. The candidates will have to approach the
concerned authorities for notification.
