Scholarship Details

The University Of Nottingham, UK is pleased to invite applications for OPC scholarships. Scholarships are provided by the University of Nottingham to the students who are desirous of undertaking the undergraduate courses.

Study subjects

The scholarships are provided to the students who are interested in the fields of Oil and Gas industries and have gained a placement in those industries. Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for the above mentioned scholarship is given below. The candidate applying for the scholarship should satisfy the given eligibility criteria.

1.       The candidate should be studying the course of B.Eng/M.Eng/BSc degree in the given departments below. They are the department of civil engineering, department of chemical engineering, department of environmental engineering, department of electronics and electrical engineering, department of mechanical engineering, materials and manufacturing engineering at the University Of Nottingham, United Kingdom.

2.       Preference for the award of the scholarship will be given to the home students of United Kingdom.  The overseas students may also apply for the scholarship.

3.       The candidate should have got placed in a summer internship (minimum of 10 weeks) with oil and gas industry in 2015 or the candidate should be on a one-year placement which should get began by 2014 and in 2015.

4.       The candidate must return to their third year of B.Eng/B.Sc study or should be at the fourth year of their M.Eng study at Nottingham at the United Kingdom.
