SML International Merit Scholarships for Indian Students in UK

Scholarship details

The Heriot-Watt University is pleased to invite the SML International Merit Schoalrships applications for five merit scholarships for Indian students for the taught postgraduate degree. The school of management and language is providing the scholarships for the taught postgraduate merit master’s programmes. The scholarship programmes are being offered for the school of management and language at the Heriot-watt University. The scholarships are for the candidates who wish to pursue the master’s programs at the School of Management and Languages, Heriot-Watt University.

Eligibility criteria for the SML International Merit Scholarships

All the Indian applicants who are eligible for the scholarship should satisfy the following criteria.

1.       The candidates should accept the offer of their place in the school of management and language on a postgraduate taught programme.

2.       The candidates should pay their deposit (where applicable) by 30^th June, 2014.

Such candidates who have satisfied the above criteria are automatically considered for the above mentioned scholarship.

Scholarship Open for the International students

The scholarship is eligible only for the students of India. This is meant for the students of India at the Heriot-Watt University to study the post graduate masters programme and continue to finish the programme at the Heriot University, the school of management and languages.

Number of awards

The number of scholarships being offered is around five merit scholarships.

Selection criteria

These scholarships are based on totally merit. The scholarships are given to the candidates. The selection criteria for the above mentioned scholarship is purely based on merit and is totally on a merit cum means basis scholarship.

Scholarship amount/fee

The candidates are offered a scholarship amount of £2000 as a fee abatement.  

How to apply

The applications for the above mentioned scholarship will be automatically considered if the applicant satisfies the above mentioned criteria.  

There is no specific criterion for the scholarship. The application forms are available from the SML International Postgraduate office. The enquiries for the scholarships can b done at smlpgenquiries@hw.ac.in. 

Last date for the application to be submitted

The last date for the scholarship to be submitted is on or before the date of 30^th June, 2014. ( Tha last date is on Monday)
