Undergraduate Excellence Scholarships at UWE Bristol University in UK

Scholarship details

The UWE Bristol University is pleased to announce the offering of excellence scholarships for Indian, Nepalese and Pakistani nationals/students. The scholarships are eligible for the three students who have excelled in their academics, obtained around 85% in their 12^th standard (or equivalent) or have an offer of study already before the scholarship application by the date of 31^st May, 2014. The scholarship covers around 50% of the tuition fee.

The scholarships are provided each academic year and give around 50% of the entire tuition fee towards the scholarship cover to the candidate. The number of scholarships for the candidates is known to be around three. These scholarships are known to help the candidates to finance their studies and excel in their area of interests/fields.

The study subjects for the above mentioned scholarship are any of the courses of study at the UWE Bristol University, United Kingdom.

The scholarships are provided to the candidates who are willing to pursue the undergraduate programs available at the UWE Bristol University, United Kingdom. 

Scholarship Is Open for International students

The scholarship is open for the candidates who are from India, Nepal and Pakistan.  Only from these nationals, students can apply to the scholarship.

Eligibility criteria

The candidates are required to satisfy the below mentioned eligibility criteria to avail the scholarship.

1.       The candidate must have achieved at least 85% in their 12^th standard (or equivalent).

2.       The candidate should have an offer of study at the university before the date of 31^st may, 2014.

3.       The candidate should be a new student and be known as overseas student for fee purposes.

4.       The candidate should not be a sponsored student or should be a holder of another scholarship grant to avail this scholarship.

Number of awards

Up to Three excellence scholarships are awarded to the candidates every year.

Duration of awards

The duration of the award is for the entire period of the programme.

Scholarship cover

The cover of these excellence scholarships are about half of the tuition fees. Around 50% tuition fee is to be paid by the scholarship funding agency.

Selection criteria

The selection criteria for the students to avail this scholarship are basically having good academic records, academic excellence and having good score in the relevant field of study.
