JRF Fellowship at Dr. HariSingh Gour Central University in India

The applications are invited from potential candidates, researchers and scholars for the post of junior research fellowship in the SERB sponsored project entitled Role of SOD1 in modulating nitric oxide coupled cGMP (NO-cGMP) signalling’. The research project can be taken at the Dr.Harisingh Gour Central University, India.  The position is for the research level and can be taken at the DHGCU, MP, India. 
 
This fellowship is for a three year research project. Upon the commencement of the programme, the project is to stay for the next three years. 

Study subjects

The study subjects for the fellowship is the project entitled Role of SOD1 in modulating nitric oxide coupled cGMP (NO-cGMP) signalling’. The research project is an SERB sponsored project. 

Course level

The course level of the scholarship/fellowship programme is at the junior research level. This scholarship is provided to the junior research fellow who meets the eligibility criteria. 

Number of awards

The Dr. Harisingh Gour Central University is offering only one fellowship for the above said research project. 

Duration of awards

The research project is to last for the next three years from the commencement of the research project. 

Scholarship coverage/amount

The scholarship amount for the candidate who is now recruited as the junior research fellow will receive an amount of 12,000 per month. The amount is a consolidated pay to the candidate.

Criteria of eligibility

The candidate has to satisfy the below mentioned eligibility criteria to avail the scholarship. 

1.       The candidate/applicant must have M.Sc in Biotechnology/Biochemistry/ Microbiology or any of the related area. The candidates should have received the degree of M.Sc with at least 60 percent or with a higher score
2.       The candidates can also register for the PhD if he/she fulfils the criteria. 

Candidate’s selection criteria

The candidates are preferred if they are NET-JRF/LS or with a GATE score. The candidates with such eligibility criteria are only preferred for the position of junior research fellowship.

The candidates whether will be notified about their selection is still not known. The candidates have to keep in mind and be in touch with the employers of the university.
