Junior Research Fellowship at PSG Institute of Advanced Studies in Coimbatore

The DST nano mission, Government of India is pleased to invite applications for the junior research fellowship position in nano structured as the active support material for the electro-catalysts of the direct Methanol fuel cell. The fellowship covers the salary of the junior research fellow and the 20% HRA per month for the time period of 1.5 years. The applications must reach the institute via post and electronically.

The fellowship is awarded to the junior research fellows on the basis of the eligibility criteria provided below here.

Eligibility criteria

The candidate needs to satisfy the below mentioned eligibility criteria to avail the junior research fellowship for the mentioned research project.

1.       The candidate should be M.Phil/M.sc in chemistry/Physics/Material sciences or the candidate should be M.Tech in chemical engineering, nano-science and Technology with a minimum of 60% having good academic records.

2.       The candidates are more preferred if they have a research experience in the area of electrochemical energy materials.  

Study subjects

The study subjects for the junior research fellowship are for the project entitled ‘nano structured TiO2 as the active support material for the electro-catalysts of the direct Methanol fuel cell’.

Course level

The course level is at the research level at the PSG institute of Advanced studies in Coimbatore, India.

The research scholarship is open for the students of India.

The number of awards being offered by the PSG institute of Advanced studies, Coimbatore is not known yet.

Duration of awards

The duration of the research fellowship is for the period of 1.5 years.

The scholarship amount covered for the research fellowship is INR 16,000 per month and 20% HRA. This scholarship is provided to the junior research fellows by the PSG Institute of Advanced studies, Coimbatore, India.

The selection criteria for the research fellowship are not known yet.

Notification

The candidates if found eligible will be called for an interview at the PSG institute of advanced studies. No TA/DA is permissible for the candidate if called for the interview.
