Mahatma Gandhi Scholarship for Indians at London Metropolitan University in UK

The Mahatma Gandhi scholarship is offered by the London Metropolitan University, United Kingdom for the Indian students who are desirous of pursuing Master’s in London metropolitan University, United Kingdom. One scholarship is awarded under this scheme for an outstanding student with excellent academic records from India. This scholarship covers the entire tuition fee for the Master’s program the candidate wishes to take up at the London Metropolitan University, United Kingdom. 

 

Eligibility Criteria

The candidate has to satisfy the following eligibility criteria to avail the above mentioned scholarship. 

1.       The candidate/applicant must have an unconditional offer of study at the London Metropolitan University for one of the master’s courses at the University.

2.       The candidate should have 80% or above in class tenth.

3.       The candidate should have 80% or above in class twelfth.

4.       The candidate should have a first class honours Bachelors degree with a reputed university at India.

5.       The candidate should have a minimum score of 7.5 in the IELTS. The candidate should have at least obtained 7.0 in each of the components in the IELTS examination.

The scholarship is offered to only one of the outstanding student from India who wishes to pursue the master’s programme at the London Metropolitan University.

The duration of the scholarship is not known. The scholarship covers the entire tuition fee for the entire period of the term, depending on whether it is a one year or two year programme.

Selection criteria

The candidate is selected on the basis of excellent outstanding academic records of the candidate. 

Notification

The students shortlisted for the scholarship will be notified. These shortlisted candidates are required to be present at the Delhi Gandhi Smriti for one day for selection. This process will consist of group discussion with a panel, a short presentation from each of the candidates which will be followed by questions.
