Scholarship details

 

The University of Edinburgh at United Kingdom is offering 12 Master’s scholarships for students from India for postgraduate master’s study in any subject offered by the university.

The scholarships are offered for any of the study subjects provided by the University of Edinburgh.

Eligibility criteria

To be eligible to the scholarship, the candidate requires to satisfy the below mentioned eligibility criteria to avail the scholarship. 

1)      The applicants should have an offer of admission on a full-time for a postgraduate program at the University of Edinburgh.

2)      The applicants should have already accepted their offer of acceptance to study at the University of Edinburgh. The candidates should have firmly accepted their offer or should be intending to do so.

3)      Preference will be given to the students who have never had the opportunity to study at the University of Edinburgh. The candidates will be preferred who have never had the opportunity to study at Scotland.     

Scholarship Open for International students

The scholarship is open to the students of India.

Number of awards

Around 15 scholarships are being provided to the students from India.  

Duration of awards

The scholarship is tenable for one academic year. 

Scholarship coverage/amount

Each of the scholarship is worth £3000. These scholarships will be awarded for a period of one year.  

Selection criteria

The scholarships are awarded on the basis of academic merit. The candidate should have excellent academic records to be eligible and get selected with the organisation.  The selection committee is formed and they meet to select the most suitable candidates. 

Notification

The winners of the scholarship will be intimidated by the month of June every year.
