DST-ANR Joint Call for Pre-Proposals for Indian and French Researchers
Introduction to the scholarship
The department of science and
technology (DST) and national research agency (ANR) have launched this joint
call for research proposals for a collaborative research. The scholarship can
be taken at India and France. The scholarship is given to the finally selected full
research proposals and will be funded by the DST in India and by ANR in France.
The citizens of India and Franc are only eligible for the scholarship. All the
applications for the joint call have to be sent in time. The areas of research
are given below: a) neurosciences, b) engineering sciences (Material science,
chemistry, intelligent transport system and energy)
Scholarship provider
The scholarship is provided by the
department of science and technology (DST) and national research agency. The department of science and technology (DST)
funds the Indian traveller to France and the ANR (National research agency)
funds the French traveller to India for research.
Scholarship duration
The scholarship is given to the
applicants for the period of three years.
Scholarship coverage
The full research proposals will be
funded by the DST for the Indian researcher travelling to France which include
travel expenses, his/hr accommodation, per dim allowances as per the CEFIPRA
norms. The full research proposals will be funded by the ANR for the French
researcher travelling to India which include travel expenses, his/her
accommodation, per dim allowances as per the CEFIPRA norms.
Eligibility criteria
The
candidate has to satisfy the following eligibility criteria to avail the scholarship.
1. The applicants must
satisfy the eligibility criteria to avail the research grants.
2. The joint proposals
should be written in English.
3. The French researcher and
the Indian researcher must apply for the joint proposal together and in
accordance with the DST and ANR rules.
4. The both joint proposals
must be according to the ANR and DST.
5. The pre-proposals
submitted from only on side will not be accepted.
Application process
The
Indian researcher must submit the application form according to the DST and ANR
rules and regulations. The both researchers are using their own application
procedure. The Indian researcher must submit their application of pre-proposal
in Microsoft word format to the email id proposal-at-cefipra.org. the research
proposal must be sent in English.
Selection
The
candidates will be successful if the below selection criteria are met.
1. Scientific and
innovativeness of the research plan.
2. The feasibility of the
project
3. Scientific merits and results of the French
and Indian researcher.
4. Support for the young
researchers to carry out the research without any hindrances. The DST-ANR will
sponsor the full research proposals for the submission of their research
proposals.
